Yoga at Japam
A guided practice rooted in awareness, alignment, and personal rhythm
Yoga at Japam is a guided practice.
It is a place where learning and exploration go hand in hand with a deep respect for one’s personal rhythm and understanding.
Our classes focus on alignment and awareness, with gentle, precise guidance supporting progress.
With our informed backgrounds in yogic science and physiotherapy, we work with a balance of stability, strength, and mobility, allowing practice to progress in a safe and sustainable way.
To respect different rhythms of learning, we offer drop-in classes, step away from fast-paced certification systems, and add to the practice with workshops that deepen understanding and awareness.

Our Group Classes

Yoga Therapy & Anatomy
Yoga Therapy & Anatomy is an exploratory and educational practice.
Each class focuses on a specific anatomical concept, health condition, or aspect of practice, and observes how it manifests within yoga while blending in insights from modern science.
A short theoretical introduction is followed by movement, allowing participants to experience and integrate the concept through practice.
Alongside regular group classes, we offer individual sessions and workshops for those wishing to explore specific needs, questions, or aspects of practice in more depth.
Our workshops create space to spend more time with a subject that deserves deeper attention.
In a simple and accessible format, we explore specific themes around health, science, and yoga with clarity and curiosity.
These longer sessions allow us to go beyond regular classes and develop a more informed, embodied understanding of the themes that shape our practice and well-being.

Anatomy workshops
Through a physiotherapy-informed perspective, we explore muscles, joints, fascia, and movement patterns to build a clearer and more grounded awareness. The intention is to strengthen understanding where it is often missing, so yoga practice becomes more precise, safe, and embodied.

Back Pain Management
Rather than reducing it to a purely structural issue, we look at the role of fascia, movement habits, and the nervous system.
Combining physiotherapy and yoga, we work on both prevention and relief, offering practical tools and clearer understanding to support long-term change.
